To the world you are a mother, but to me you are the world!

Although many Mother's Day celebrations world-wide have quite different origins and traditions, most have now been influenced by the more recent American tradition established by Anna Jarvis in 1868. Previous attempts at establishing Mother's Day in the United States sought to promote peace by means of honoring mothers who had lost or were at risk of losing their sons to war.
West Virginia was the first State to declare the holiday and the rest of States followed right after but wasn't until May 8, 1914 that President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation declaring the first national Mother's Day.
I Love You Mum
roses are red
violets are blue
your my mum
and i love you

from time to time you love me
from time to time i know
i want to show how much i love you
my heart will glow if i do show
you will be so proud of me
i just know
